Obituary for Martha Byler

Martha Arlene Byler, age 85, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. She was born July 5, 1932 in Greenwood, Delaware to Martin B. and Salome (Miller) Yoder.
On November 26, 1953, she married Albin A. Byler of Middlefield, Ohio and they were married for fifty-seven years. For over thirty years she loved operating the business of her dreams, the Christian Supply Center in Blountstown, Florida, which she saw as a ministry to her community. She passed on her love for singing in teaching music classes to children in the Bethel Christian School and to homeschooling children. She was a member of Red Oak Community Mennonite Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albin A. Byler.
Survivors include five sons, Fred and his wife, Cyndy of Altha, Glenn and his wife, Brenda, of Altha, Michael and his wife, Damaris of Jay, Florida, Joe and his wife, Patti of Sneads, Florida, and Clyde and his wife, Wanita of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; two daughters, Kathy Mast and her husband, Richard of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Rebecca Angkasa and her husband, Gideon of Fresh Meadows, New York, twenty-four grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, and a brother, Martin Yoder of Sky Valley, California.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2, at Red Oak Community Mennonite Church. Interment will be in Hugh Comerford Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church, Friday, June1, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
