Albin A. Byler, age 83, of Altha, Florida went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida He was born May 19, 1927 in Geauga County, Middlefield, Ohio to Andy F. and Lydia (Troyer) Byler. On November 26, 1953, he married Martha A Yoder in Greenwood, Delaware. He was retired after operating the local businesses, Byler's Garden Center and the Christian Supply Center in Blountstown. He was a member of the Red Oak Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, Martha; five sons, Fred and his wife, Cyndy of Altha, Glenn and his wife, Brenda of Altha, Michael and his wife, Damaris of Jay, Florida, Joe and his wife, Patti of Sneads, Florida, and Clyde and his wife, Wanita of London, Ohio; two daughters, Kathy Mast and her husband, Richard of Sugar Grove, Virginia, and Rebecca of Corona, New York; twenty-four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Lester Byler of Nappanee, Indiana, Freeman Byler and Andy Byler of Middlefield, Ohio; sisters, Anna Mullet, Clara Miller, Mary Bontrager, and Kathryn Byler all of Middlefield, Ohio, and Lydia Ann Petersheim of Summersville, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28 at Red Oak Mennonite Church near Altha with Reverend Ivan Nissley officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Oak Mennonite Church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, December 27 at the church.
