Archie Harris

Archie Harris, 61, of Bristol passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Tallahassee. Archie was born in Quincy, July 26, 1957 to the late Thomas Franklin and Nettie Mae (Summerlin) Harris and was a lifelong resident of Liberty County. He was in the trucking business for many years and the people that knew him called him by his CB handle "Monkeyman". He was of the Baptist faith. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a grandchild Alice Marie Reed. Survivors include his wife Marilyn Harris of Bristol; his son, Chad Harris and his wife Christy of Newton Alabama, Jacob Reed and his wife Jessie of Bristol, Samuel Harris, of Bristol; his daughters, Stacy Harris Batson of Bristol, Crystal Clay, and her husband Walter of Bristol and Felicia Manning and her husband James of Blountstown; his brother Thomas Harris and his wife Darlene of Telogia; his sisters, Phoebe Hires and her husband Ricky of Bristol, Millie Sullivan of Blountstown, Linda Geesey and her husband Gordon of Marianna; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; special friends, William and Angie Tucker of Bristol and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5pm to 7p.m. CST at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Funeral services honoring and celebrating Archie's life will be held 3:00 p.m. EST Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Lake Mystic Baptist Church in Bristol.
