Audrey E. Goshen, 81 of Pensacola, Florida and formerly of Blountstown passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Pensacola. Audrey was born in Panama City on November 22, 1941, to Daniel and Ruth Ellis. She spent her formative years in Panama City but later, she spent her married life moving around, living in Alabama, Alaska, California, and eventually retiring in Blountstown.
Throughout her adult life she worked in various financial organizations. Her last was working as a medical biller for First Physicians Medical Group. After retiring, she relocated to Blountstown where she became a member of the Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed meeting her new friends in this area and remained here until relocating to an Assist Living facility in Pensacola. Throughout her life, she faced many medical challenges, but she never gave up her desire to live.
Audrey will be missed by her relatives as well as the many friends and acquaintances she acquired throughout her life. A strong Christian throughout her life. Her desire was to live the Christian life in such a way that her family and others would follow the beliefs of her savior.
Audrey is preceded in death by her husband Keith Goshen and her brothers, Daniel, Willard and Bobby Ellis.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Bell and her husband Jim and Hope Espada; her son Troy Pittman and his wife, Patti; her sisters, Shirley Ellis, Betty Tate and her husband, Steve, and Sue Ellis; her brother, Charles Ellis and his wife Vicki; her grandchildren Michael, Mark and Jerrod Bell and his wife Michelle, Troy Pittman III, Andrew Berg, Alexis Halley, Cole and Avery Espada; her great grandchildren, Ayden and Ashton Halley, Lilianna Berge, Hunter, Grace, Gage, KylieRae, Jackson and Kinslee Bell.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held 3:00 p.m. November 15, 2023, at Williams United Memorial Church near Blountstown.
