Pastor Bill Timmons, 77 of Altha, Florida passed away on the morning of Wednesday, October 30, 2024 with his devoted wife by his side. Bill was born to Calvin and Wilda Timmons on August 18, 1947 in Homestead, Florida. He was an Eagle Scout and kept his card in his wallet! Bill was saved at a very young age and always had his New Testament in his front shirt pocket. Some of his many trades included being a Teacher, Principal, Salesman and Registered Nurse but the most important to him was being a Pastor. 

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Calvin "Junior" Timmons.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Gail Timmons; daughter, Selena (Robert) Mosco; son, Billy (Jessy) Timmons; grandchildren, Chris Smith, Tiffany (Justin) Butler, Jeremy Smith, Jessica (Cheston) Meredith, Jason Smith, Thomas (Lynsey) Timmons, Raine Timmons, William Timmons, Abigail Timmons and thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Allen (Judy) Timmons as well as many of his family friends and church family. 

A visitation will be held at Southside Assembly of God 15164 SR 71 South Blountstown, Florida 32424 on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 3pm. with Pastor Myrna Carnley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made to Gail Timmons to cover the unexpected expenses.
