Blanche Ray, 86 of Blountstown, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Blountstown. Blanche was born October 14, 1935, in Grand Ridge, Florida to the late Jefferson and Lucille Edenfield. She was a plant operator for a citrus producer for many years until her retirement. Blanche enjoyed bowling where she was a member of a bowling League and also loved to travel and eat out at new places. She loved spending time with family and playing canasta.Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, L.C. Edenfield and her sisters, Leavern Edenfield, Lola Mae Stewart, Ida Mary Fleming and Dorothy Jean Fink.Survivors include her husband, J.W. Ray of Coffee Springs, Alabama; her son, Rufus King and his wife Valerie; a daughter, Shirley Arnold and her husband Bob; her brothers, Calvin Edenfield and his wife Brenda and Ruhl Edenfield and his wife Betty; her sister Erma Lee Powers; her grandchildren, Susan Hatfield and her husband Ed and Bobby Arnold and her great grandchildren, Millie, Molly and Bailey Arnold.Services to honor Blanche’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown with Reverend Gino Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery near Grand Ridge. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the Funeral Home.Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
