Charles Wayne Gable

Charles Wayne Gable, 68, of Altha, Florida, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Blountstown. Wayne was born in Port St. Joe, Florida, August 30, 1956, to Charles William Gable and Otheda Pitts and graduated from Port St. Joe High School. He spent the remainder of his life primarily working with the City of Altha and dedicating himself to his entrepreneurship and was known for his overwhelming trust of others. Wayne enjoyed history, numismatics etymology and always loved to challenge your knowledge on almost anything.

Wayne was proceeded in death by his father, Charles Gable and mother, Otheda Pitts.

He is survived by his children, Melissa Dianne Mims and her husband Victor, Nicholas Wayne Gable and Charles Matthew Gable; two grandchildren, Timothy Isaiah Mims and Parker Gable.

A memorial will be held at a later date and will be announced when final arrangements are made.
