Cheryl Wood

Cheryl Lynn Wood, 73 of Clarksville passed away on Monday, January 1,2024 at home with her devoted husband, daughter and amazing hospice caregiver Emily by her side.

Cheryl was born August 10,1950 in Suffern, NY to John and Gloria (Call) Stillwell. Cheryl’s infectious smile, laughter and happiness were never questionable. Her bright cheer unveiled so many smiles to and from everyone she met. Her positivity unmatched and a reflection of the wonderful person she was. Cheryl was a ferocious reader, talented cross stitcher, enjoyed music/dancing, flea markets and finding treasures. Cheryl enjoyed the little things in life and everyone around her. Besides her family, her great love was her dog, Jake.

Besides her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her son, David Wood, her brothers Leonard and Stephen, nephews: Christopher Crayton, Kevin Stillwell and James Prezioso.

Survivors deeply missing her are: her loving husband of 55 years, Dave Wood of Clarksville, her loving dog Jake, her daughter, Kimberly Wood of Norfolk, VA., her grandsons who were the loves of her life: Dominic Prevett of Norfolk, VA., Christian Prevett and his wife Katie of Suffolk, VA.

Her sisters: Deborah Grafals and her husband Pepi of Fort Ann, NY., Janet Horton and her husband Rick of Cavendish, VT., Lori Walker and her husband Chris of Andover, Vt. Her Brothers: Lester Stillwell of Wallingford, VT., Kevin Stillwell and his wife Susan of Mount Holly, VT. Bob Stillwell and his partner Donella of Wallingford, Vt., John Stillwell and his wife Vanessa of Lake Bomoseen, Vt. Many brother/sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews that she adored.
