Daisy Herring

Daisy Louise Herring passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in Tallahassee at the age of 83. Daisy was born in Sneads, April 22, 1939, to the late John and Fannie Colvin and worked as a UTR Specialist for the Florida State Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Sneads Assembly of God Church in Sneads and very active in fundraising for the church. Daisy also filled in as a substitute teacher for several years and loved spending time with her grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Herring in 2020 and leaves behind her children, Christopher Herring of Michigan and Kimberly Herring Mahmood of Blountstown; her sisters Gracie Harrison of Sneads and Mary Harrison of Cypress; her grandchildren, Caleb Mills, Hammadah Walquist, Maryam Mahmood, Aisha Mahmood and Ryder Herring and one great grandchild, Jasey Mills.Services to honor Daisy’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Sneads Assembly of God Church in Sneads with Reverend Juno Douglas officiating. A time of visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
