Glenwood Parker, 63 of Bristol, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, in Panama City. Glenwood was born October 22, 1961, in Fort Gaines, Georgia to the late Thaddus Parker and Beverly Goodson. He graduated from Blountstown High School and worked for Georgia Pacific as a forklift operator for 23 years until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Other than his parents, Glenwood was preceded in death by his siblings, Dudley and Diana.
Survivors include his sons, Jamie Parker and Jefferey Parker; his daughters, Jennifer Parker and Ashley Parker and her husband Conner; his brothers and sisters, Roy, Gary and Ruben Parker, Kim Hampton, Venice Martin, Trudy Rentz and Beverlene Goodson; fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Services to honor Glenwood’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. CST, November 22, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Coy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery. There will also be a time of visitation one hour prior to the services in the Chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. CST.
