Jackie Wilford

Jackie Wilford, 75 of Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2019 in Blountstown. Jackie was born August 24, 1943 to the last Jack and Louise Wilford in Monticello, Florida. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army and a Bronze Star recipient. Jackie was retired from CSX Transportation as a rail car inspector after 41 years. Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Nancy Wilford and a sister Virginia Fountain. Survivors include his son Sean Wilford of Tallahassee; his sisters, Carolyn Sauls of Boston, Georgia, Betty Lou Teasley of Jacksonville, Juanita Lambert of Monticello and Janice Walsh of Tallahassee and a niece, Sandra Jarrell of Hosford. Services honoring and celebrating Jackie's life will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., March 6, 2019 at Hosford Cemetery with Reverend Josh Parker officiating.
