John Luukko

John Ilmari Luukko of Blountstown passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 in Panama City at the age of 65. He was born in Finland June 30, 1946 to the late Ilmari and Maire Luukko. He loved to exercise and won many swimming awards as a boy in Finland. He lived in Blountstown for the last thirty years and worked as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Luukko. He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Hicks and her husband, Tom of Sherman, Connecticut; his companion, Britta Norrholm of Blountstown and her sons, Robert and Ralph Norrholm; grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, and Ava Hicks and Ashley, Jake, Robert, Jr.., Michael, and Kyle Norrholm; and a sister, Annelli Luukko of Finland. No services are planned at this time. Memorilization will be by cremation. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
