Lutricia Faye "Lucy" Johnson, born on March 23, 1945, in Wewahitchka, Florida, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Panama City. A dedicated elderly caretaker, Lutricia devoted her life to caring for others, offering both compassion and companionship to those in need.
Lucy's personality shone brightly in her love for conversation. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, bringing joy and comfort through her words. She was also a talented musician, cherishing her time at the piano where she would often play and sing, delighting family and friends alike. Her deep faith was evident in her daily life, as she spent countless hours reading her Bible, drawing strength and inspiration from its teachings.
Lucy is survived by her sister, Patricia Cain, along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members who will cherish her memory and carry forward her spirit of kindness and generosity. She was preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Wava Johnson; her brothers, Terrell Granger and Robert Granger, and her sister, Sarah North.
Services honoring Lucy's Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown, with a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Buckhorn Cemetery near Wewahitchka. Lutricia's legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
