Marie Hayden

Marie Hayden, 75 of Bristol, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at her home. Marie was born in Bristol November 4, 1943 to the late James Owens and Eva Gainey Owens. She was a homemaker and a member of Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church and loved spending time with family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Bennie Lee Owens and her sisters, Jean Nelson and Sally Hopkins. Survivors include her son, Dwayne Barber of Bristol; brothers, Delma Owens of Marianna and James Owens of Lake Talquin; a sister, Jeanette Roberson of Quitman, Georgia; two grandchildren, Lauren Lee and Makayla Barber; a great grandchild, Marcus Lee and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Funeral services to honor and to celebrate Marie's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 from Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Coy Collins and Chris Goodman officiating. The family will greet friends 12:00 - 2:00 on Thursday before services at the church. Interment will follow in Meacham Cemetery in Bristol. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
