Marilyn Waller

Marilyn Waller of Blountstown passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home after an extended illness. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a very active member of Blountstown First Baptist Church. She served as church treasurer, Sunday school teacher, group leader of Women's Missionary Union, head of the bereavement committee, and was president of the B.A.L.L. Club ((Be Active Live Longer). She was also treasurer for Keep Calhoun County Beautiful. She is survived by Bill Waller, her husband of forty-six years; two sons, Gerald Waller and his wife, Marcie of Franklin, Tennessee and Jay Waller and his wife, Kimberly of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel, Trevor, and Emma. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Reverend David Throckmorton officiating. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home PO Box 8190 Lakeland, Florida 33802-9963. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
