Mark Louis Durflinger

Mark Louis Durflinger, 62 of Tallahassee, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, in Boca Raton, Florida. Mark was born in Gary Indiana to the late Luther Durflinger and Alberta Whitcomb and had lived in Tallahassee for over thirty years. Mark was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He was a great and faithful friend who loved his friends and family. Mark was a strong man with a heart of gold and taught many of his loved ones what life was truly about. Mark was employed by Weller Pool Construction for over twenty years and truly loved his work and enjoyed working beside his fellow employees that he considered family.Survivors include his wife Rita Watson Durflinger; his children, Mark, Phillip, Daniel, Jonathan, Misty, Leslie, Carol, Daisy, Megan and Marie; his brothers, Luther and Ray; his many grandchildren including, Mary Jo, Little Johnny Carson, Karma Rayne, Katerina Grace, Colton “Colt 45”, Marissa, Dakota and Aurora.Services to honor and to celebrate Mark’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. eastern time Friday, February 11, 2022, at Bristol Cemetery in Bristol. The family will have a time of visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 central time at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.
