Mary Sue Lee, 72 of Blountstown, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Dothan. Mary Sue was born in Adel, Georgia on April 19, 1948 to the late James Edward Hobby and Lou Vennie (Montgomery) Hobby. She graduated from Liberty High School in Bristol in 1967. She lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She retired with the State of Florida with 35+ years and was of the Baptist faith. She truly loved her family. She had several rules she wanted the family to follow: never hate, don't worry, live simple, expect little, give a lot, always smile and stay close with God. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Collis and Larry Hobby. Survivors include her husband, Amos Lee of Blountstown; her son, Andrew “Peewee” Lee; her daughters, Sharon Guilford and her husband Brad of Clarksville and Sheila Hall and her husband Randal also of Clarksville; her brothers, Billy, Edwin and Dale all of Bristol; her sisters, Patricia Hobby of Bristol and Diane Vanderhoff of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Jake Hall and his wife Carrie, Jesse Hall, Dillon Guilford, Monica Jones and her husband Patrick, Joshua Lee, Austin Lee and his wife Amanda and Santana Lee; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
