Mary Trickey

Mary Crews Trickey, 80 of Altha, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her home. Mary was born November 4, 1938 to the late William Taft Crews and Bessie Smith Crews and had lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Trickey in 1998; a brother, Curtis "Buck" Crews; her sisters, Myrtis Clark, Martha "Ditts" Aaser; a great grandchild, Carson Faircloth and her son in law Timothy G. Smith. She is survived by her son, Allen Trickey and his wife Debbie of Altha, her daughters, Kathy Trickey of Douglasville, Georgia, Becky Trickey Smith of Clarksville, Janet Trickey Pooser of Altha, Vicky Beauchamp and her husband Greg of Sneads and Paula Faircloth of Lake Talquin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and two special friends, L.V. Hansford and Bernice Hall. Services to celebrate Mary's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend Dewayne Tolbert officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Chipola Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
