Mary Frances Williams

Mary Frances Williams, 79 of Altha, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her home. Frances was born March 11, 1945, in Blountstown to the late Howard and Cassie Newman and was a librarian in Bay County libraries for twenty-three years. She had a passion for reading and also loved to paint and collect art. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Blountstown.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her two husbands Edward Carter and Lewis Williams and her son, Edward Carter II.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter-in-law Maria Mercer, her grandchildren, Cody, Mary, Fritz, Cassandra, Garrett and Colt and a cousin, Alice McCardle.
