Minas Frangoulis, age 75, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Blountstown. He was a member of Bristol United Methodist Church and was a retired photographer. Minas worked for years capturing images of people and places of Calhoun and Liberty County. He was a life time member of the Florida Professional Photographers were he served as President from 1999-2000. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Stella (Karistis) Frangoulis. Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Nancy; two daughters, Julie McCluskey and her husband, Ron of Panama City and Christine Peacock and her husband, Joey of Altha; two step-daughters, Vicki Watts and her husband, Chuck of Laurel, Maryland and Linda Haines of Bristol; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Gus Frangoulis and sisters, Penny Jenkins and Joanna Savaas. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM ET Sunday, November 7, 2010 from the Bristol United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minas Frangoulis Scholarship Fund at any Centennial Bank (formerly Wakulla Bank) location.
