Randall Moody Sumner, 51, of Tallahassee, passed from this life Friday, November 12, 2010, in Tallahassee. Randall was born August 7, 1959, in Quincy, Florida. His family moved to Tallahassee when he was two, where he lived most of his life. He was a graduate of Rickards High School and went on to complete a certification for civil drafting in Auto-Cad at Lively Vocational School. He worked for the Department of Environmental Protection as an Engineering Technician and recently owned his own trenching company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved sharing the outdoors with his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; daughter, Amy; and son, Justin, whom he cherished and was so proud of; his father, Carl Sumner, and his longtime friend, Sheila Zapp; two brothers, Terry and his wife, Nancy, and Mark; one sister, Monty McCullough and husband , Howard; nieces, Kate Jones and Emily Sumner; nephews, Brian, Jeremy, and Ian McCullough, and Kyle Sumner; great nieces and nephews , Christy, Cayden, and Cameron; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Joan Moody Sumner. Services will be held 2:00 PM ET Monday, November 15, 2010 from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Bristol. Interment will follow in the Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at the Adams Funeral Home in Bristol.
