Raymond Piercy

Raymond Harold Piercy of Blountstown passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home. Raymond was a logger and lived in Calhoun County most of his life. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Frances Piercy; his brothers, Edward, James and Owen Piercy and his father-in-law, Shot McDaniel. Survivors include his wife, Bessie Ann Piercy; his mother-in-law, Betty McDaniel, sister-in-law, Rebecca Summerlin and her boyfriend James Bevis; his sisters, Rita Piercy, Linda Coker, Shirley McDaniel and her husband Ben, Mary Simmons and her husband Ricky, Sally Homes, Sherry Piercy; his brothers, Doug Piercy and his wife Rita, Robert Piercy and his wife Emer and David Piercy; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Services to honor and to celebrate Raymond’s life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Blountstown Community Church in Blountstown with Reverend Larry Rogers officiating.
