Richard Hansford

Richard Eugene "Ricky" Hansford, age 55, of Altha, Florida passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his home. Ricky was born in Marianna, Florida and had lived in Calhoun County most of his life. He was a line technician with Fairpoint Communications for 35 years and attended the Abe Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harold Hansford. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Karen Hansford of Altha; two sons, Kevin Hansford and his wife, Elizabeth and Brian Hansford and his wife, Krystal; a daughter, Kayla Dalton and her husband, Eddie; his mother Louvenia "L.V." (Chason) Hansford; a brother, Terry Hansford, all of Altha; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 19, from the Abe Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Michael Morris and Reverend Dewayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunny Hill Cemetery near Altha. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, July 18, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
