Ruth M Bloodworth

Ruth M. Bloodworth, 89 of Blountstown, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024. Ruth was born in Alva, Florida June 27, 1935, to the late George and Florence Mount. She worked as a lunchroom supervisor for the Liberty County Schools and later worked for the Division of Forestry in maintenance. She loved sewing and quilting.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John Bloodworth; her sons, Walther Newton and her sister Emma Lanier.

Survivors include her son, Butch Newton; her daughters, Angela Nowling and her husband William and Doris Ann Taylor; her grandchildren, Courtney, William, Kimberly, Crystal, Wyatt, Holly and Heidi and three great grandchildren.

Services to honor Ruth’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
