Sandra D. Spiva, born on September 8, 1949, in Alford, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Blountstown, Florida. Sandra’s legacy is defined by her dedication to family, a passion for the outdoors, and a commendable career at Bay County Land and Abstract, where she spent many years contributing to the community.

Sandra was the beloved mother of Trey Spiva (Belinda) and Stephanie Spiva (Bellina), each of whom carry forward her spirit and dedication. She was a proud grandmother to Brandon Cook and Keaton Spiva (Caitlyn) and cherished her great-grandchildren, Bodhi Cook, Braylon Cook, and Brentley Spiva. Sandra's bond with her family was unbreakable, nurtured with love and warmth throughout her life.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Thelma Harris, who continues to remind all who knew them of the strength of family ties. Sandra also leaves behind her siblings: Delois Harris, Ruth Harris, Margaret Mayo (Coyle), and Tommy Harris (Irene), along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended family who deeply mourn her passing while celebrating the joy she brought into their lives.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Joe Spiva, who has been waiting for her embrace, and her father, Joe Harris. She also lost two brothers, Johnny Harris and Bryan Harris, and sister Barbara Wilkerson, whose memories will always be treasured by those who loved them.

In addition to her family life, Sandra found a lot of joy in the natural world. She loved the outdoors, embracing activities such as hunting and fishing, which brought her peace and fulfillment. Music was another of her passions, serving as a backdrop to the cherished moments she shared with family and friends, creating a vibrant tapestry of memories.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Gathering in her honor on March 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.

Sandra D. Spiva will be remembered for her loving spirit, her devotion to family, and her zest for life. Her presence will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege to know her.
