Sybil Plazarin

Sybil Plazarin, 44 of Altha passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home. Sybil was born in Panama City, Florida December 22, 1974 to the late Winfred and Francis (Atwell) Gilliland. She had lived in Calhoun County since 1994 and had attended Florida State University where she earned her Master of Business degree. She was a teacher at Carr School in Clarksville for the past 12 years and worked with and inspired kids at River Town Community Church for many years. Survivors include her husband Paul Plazarin of Altha; daughters, Faith Morgan Plazarin of Boston, Massachusetts and Hannah Ashley Plazarin of Clarksville, Florida; a brother Henry Gilliland of Youngstown; a sister Margie Frazier of Lyndell, Georgia; Nephew, Shelton Gilliland and his wife Mona and their daughter Makenzie and a sister in law Kristy Plazarin. A celebration of Sybil's life will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 at 5:00pm from the Altha Church of God with Reverend Allen Nichols officiating. Family and friends will gather Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
