Thelma Rowell

Thelma Ruth Rowell, age 90, of Carrabelle passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. Thelma was born March 30, 1927 to Authur Lafayette Tucker and Camelia Daye (Segree) Tucker. She lived in Carrabelle most of her life and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a bookkeeper who loved cooking, crocheting, and crabbing. In addition to her parents, Aurthur and Camelia Tucker, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her son, Shellie Gray Rowell and his wife Edie of Carrabelle; her daughter, Beverly Clark and her husband Levon of Palm Bay, Florida; five grandchildren, Leslie (Dean) Adams, David (Tiffany) Cooksey, Joey (Dena) Rowell, Courtney (John) Tharpe, and Ricky Clark; thirteen great-grandchildren, Tyler Rowell, Lily and Wyatt Adams, Hailey and James Cooksey, Krista (Jeff) Martin, Ryan and Nicholas Clark, Michael Daniels, Austin and Kayla Osburn, Aubrey and Cassandra Tharpe; three great-great-grandchildren, Noah and Ava Osburn and Liam Clark; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a sister, Loyce Novak of Carrabelle.
