Wallace “Wally” Lyle Allen, Jr. 77 of Crawfordville, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Wally was born in Fort Myers, Florida June 19, 1947, to the late Wallace and Sarah Allen. He obtained a masters degree and was a math and science teacher as well as a football and wrestling coach for Wakulla Middle School and a Physical Education teacher for Medart Elementary and Shadeville Elementary School. He enjoyed being a teacher and mentor to his students and also loved saltwater fishing and became a boat captain in order to share his love with others. He was a true entrepreneur and also served his country in the Army National Guard.

Other than his parents, Wally is also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Annette Davis Allen; his son, Jonathan Lyle Allen and his wife Amber; his daughters, Kelli Allen, Jenni Cruse and her husband Rod and Cathi Robertson; his siblings, Delores Talanoa and Frank Allen and his wife Frankie; his grandchildren Olivia, Thomas, Austin, Trevor, Chance and Lizzie; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Liam, Jackson, Cohl and Elijah and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Wally was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed.

Services to honor Wally’s life will be held 1:00 p.m. CST Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Clarksville Cemetery in Clarksville, Florida.  Adams Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at adamsfh.com 850-674-5449
