Obituary of Bobby Baggett

Bobby George Baggett, 81 of Altha, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Marianna. Bobby was born February 22, 1940, to the late Will and Mattie (Alday) Baggett and was a hard a working, determined, strong Christian man that always had a smile on his face. He always had words of wisdom to share and always put his God and family first. He was a farmer and started Baggett Brothers Farms along with his brothers where they grew peanuts, cotton and soybean and also enjoyed raising beef cattle. Bobby is preceded by his brothers, Bill, Pete, and Ellis Baggett; his sisters, Bonnie Sue Baggett, Fronie Adkins, Nancy Pierce, Mary Sewell, Candice Burke, Irene Stanley, Ninva Grooms and Dorothy Bethel. He was loved by many, and he loved his family and friends especially his loving wife Linda who has been by his side for over 60 years. They raised two children together, Greg (Rob) Baggett and Tonya Baggett; his grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Jennifer White, Keagan Baggett and Christa (Sissy) White; his great grandchildren, Jase and Jessa White and his brother L.N. Baggett. Private services honoring Bobby’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or food the family asks for blood and platelet donations to help fight covid 19 and hopefully save lives. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
