The world lost a beloved wife and mother, Betty Florice Sanchez 59 of Blountstown, Friday, September 3, 2021. Betty was born in Marianna, Florida to the late
Betty Jean (Davis) Mead and Thomas Edward Mead. She lived in Calhoun County most of her life and was a very beloved friend to many. She found herself in the hearts of all who knew her and was a great daughter as well as a wonderful sister, wife and loving mother.
Survivors include her husband Gerardo Sanchez of Blountstown. A daughter Christie Chapman of Quincy; three grand-dogs and three grand-cats; her sisters, Lillie Powell and husband Charles of Greensboro; Patsy Futch and her husband Mike of Blountstown and Tammy Blair of Jacksonville; four nieces, two nephews, six great grand nieces, eleven great grand nephews, one great great niece and one great great nephew. She is survived by more friends than could ever be listed.
Services to honor and to celebrate Betty’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. est, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Bristol Cemetery in Bristol.
