Doris Thelma Cloud, 93 of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021. Doris was born August 6, 1928, to the late Grover Cleveland and Ollie Mae (Burkett) Coley. She had lived in Blountstown in her early years and moved to Avon Park in 1946. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie David Cloud; her sons, Ralph Ernest Cloud and John E. Cloud; her daughter, Hazel Charlane Cloud Celley and a grandson, Michael Cloud.
Survivors include her children, Craig Cloud of Avon Park, Cathy Lutz of New Hartford, NY, Philip Cloud of Gainesville, Florida, David Cloud of Avon Park, Wilma Howland of Sumter, South Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Services to honor Doris’ life will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery near Blountstown.
