Lora Middie Varnum, 34 of Hosford, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Tallahassee. Lora was born in Deridder, Louisiana to William and Aleah Reeks and had lived in Hosford for the past five years. She was a homemaker and loved to be surrounded by family and friends always making it a goal to meet and make new friends. She loved animals and aspired to be a veterinarian. She was a beautiful soul that touched more lives than anyone could count. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her wife, Dakota Varnum, her son, Eric Reeks of Hosford; a daughter, Silver Reeks of Hosford; her parents, William and Aleah Reeks; brothers, William Reeks of Sneads and James Reeks of Marianna; her sisters, Carolyn Reeks of Blountstown and Heather Reeks also of Blountstown; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
