James H. Fowler, 89 of Panama City, passed away November 27, 2021 in Callaway. James was born in 1931 to the late Slocomb and Nellie Mae Fowler and worked at Tyndall Federal Credit Union for several years after his retirement from the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Oletha Fowler; his children, Rick Fowler and his wife Donna; Theresa Roberts and Lisa Fowler; five grandchildren, Cory Fowler and his wife Abby, Amber Fowler, Jake Roberts and his wife Tiffany, Shelby Murray and her husband Jeremy and Ava Roberts along with three great grandchildren, Mila, Emily and Murphy. Hubert also leaves behind four loving sisters, Jewell Laramore, Bonnie Hall, Shirley Segers, Larene Hall and many friends.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Cypress Creek Cemetery in Kinard with Reverend Vic Walsh officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Callaway building fund; 6930 E Hwy 22 Panama City, Florida 32404.
