Hardie Brown Stanek, 76 of Fountain, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at this home. Hardie was born in Clarksville and was an electrical engineer. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post 356 and the AmVets Post 231. He was also a Mason and a member of Red Level Lodge 134.
Survivors include his wife Betty Stanek of Fountain; his son, Scott Stanek and his wife Kathy; his stepsons, Mark Watson and his wife Judy and Steven Woods and his wife Maria; his brothers, Dennis, Kevin, John, Christopher and Mitch and his sisters, Suzanne, Candy, Sharon and Gerry and six grandchildren.
Services to honor Hardie’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ben Praytor officiating. Interment will follow in Stanek Family Cemetery near Fountain. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
