Obituary of Coley D. O'Bryan

Coley D. O’Bryan, 77 of Kinard, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Chipley. Coley was born in Altha, Florida to the late Coley and Lena Mae O’Bryan and had lived in Calhoun County most of his life. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Navy and had worked for the paper mill in Panama City and was a heavy equipment operator for many years before his retirement.
Coley is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Faye O’Bryan and his sisters, Shirley Cook, Linnie O’Bryan, Alene Barfield and Mattie Lene Webb.
Survivors include his sons, Tyson O’Bryan of Kinard and Matthew O’Bryan of Fountain; his daughter, Carla O’Bryan of Blountstown; his brother, Donald O’Bryan; his grandchildren, Jalynn Sims, Coley O’Bryan and Olivia Scheetz and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Services to honor and to celebrate Coley’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery in Kinard. The family will have a time of visitation one hour prior to the services at the Chapel.
