John Wesley Goodman, Jr. was born on January 29, 1953, and passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the age of 69. He was the son of John and Ann Goodman of Blountstown. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Dorcas, his children Allison and her spouse Randy, Joni, Lori and her spouse Kevin, and Dennis and his spouse Kaylie, 7 grandchildren Chad, Eli, Hunter, Luke, Cathryn, Charlotte, and John Michael and his two brothers and their spouses Greg and Cheryl and Robbie and Bonnie. He loved God and was a faithful member of Rivertown Community Church, where he enjoyed serving as a greeter. All of his family and friends were important to him, but most of all he cherished his grandchildren. He will be remembered as an enthusiastic Gator fan, caring pharmacist, nature lover, avid storyteller and unique gift giver. Services to honor and to celebrate John’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger King officiating. Interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery near Blountstown. A time a visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home.
