Obituary of Geraldine Freeman

Geraldine Freeman, 85 of Wewahitchka, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Tallahassee. Geraldine was born in Wewahitchka, April 17, 1936, to the late Alton and Susie Hall and graduated from Wewahitchka High School. She worked in banking most of her life and was the vice president of Wewa State Bank until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and camping. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Freeman. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Zolin of Pensacola, her son, Stan Freeman and his wife Vicky of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Danielle and Micah Heller, Ashlyn Grooms and James Freeman and nine great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Wewahitchka First Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Stroud officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
