Mary Minton, 82 of Tallahassee, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Tallahassee. Mary was born February 3, 1940, in Newberry, Florida to the late Johnnie P. and Nellie Stephens. She worked as an office manager for Peddie Chemical Company for many years and was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Other than her parents Mary is preceded in death by her husband Mack Minton; her brothers, Charles and Johnny (J.P.) Stephens and her sisters, Vera Holland, Eunice Prevatt and Katherine Streetman.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Harrison and her husband Steve of Tallahassee, her grandchildren, Bronson Bozeman and James Howard and her great grandchildren, Caleb and Cayson.
Services to celebrate Mary’s life will be held 2:00 pm EDT Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to services at the cemetery.
