Maxine Summers of Bristol passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, in Blountstown. She was born in Grand Ridge December 12, 1929, to late John Maxwell Wester and Alma Burns Wester. She worked with the St Joe Paper Company in accounting for many years until her retirement and was a member of the Bristol First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Eldridge Money and later married James Summers who also precedes her as well as her brother, Bernard Wester, her sister, Lavelle Bishop and her stepson Ricky Summers. Survivors include her son, Carl Thomas Money of Quincy; her stepsons, Eddie and Greg Summers, both of Port St. Joe; her brother William Earnest Wester of Dover, Arkansas; her sister, Mary Floyd of Grand Ridge; her grandchildren, Aaron Money and Carla Ludlam and her husband John and her great grandchildren, Cliff Money and Brayden Ludlam. Services to honor Maxine and to honor her life will be held 3:00 p.m. EST Sunday, August 7, 2022, from the Bristol Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Chris Goodman and Coy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the church. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
