Obituary of Alice Diane Watson

Alice Diane Watson, 76 of Altha, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, at her home. Diane was born August 31, 1947, in Port St. Joe to the late Jeff and Jewel Dykes and had worked as a school bus driver, a restaurant owner and primarily as a deputy with the Gulf County Sheriff’s office. Other than her parents, Jeff & Jewel Dykes. Diane is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Watson and her brothers, Frankie and Terry Dykes. Survivors include her sons, Russell Watson and his wife Cristy of Marianna, Jackie Reagan II and his wife Vivian of Altha; Jay Reagan and his wife Kam of Inverness and Jamie Reagan and his wife Renee of Altha; her daughters Elizabeth Reagan of Crawfordville and Vanessa Shelley and her husband Teddy of Cottondale; her brother, Gene Dykes and his wife Kay of Port St. Joe; her sisters, Debra Stallings and her husband Spike of Panama City and Peggy Harris and her husband Scott of Panama City; twenty one grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Services to honor Diane’s life will be held 11:00 am Wednesday September 6, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at adamsfh.com 850-674-5449
