Obituary of George Robert Rackley

George “Robert” Rackley was born in Altha FL on October 30, 1964, to G.W. Rackley and Peggy Martin. He joined them in heaven on December 5, 2023, at the age of 60. He spent his early years with his family in Altha, and as a young adult he entered Sunland. With the assistance of Habilitative Services, Robert was able to transition into his own home and maintain his independence. He spent much of his time enjoying watching wrestling, superhero and scary movies. He had a large collection of comic books and figurines of his favorite characters. His intellectual mind loved reading, his favorites being books on medical care, religion, and other cultures and languages. The staff at Habilitative Services were his family and other consumers were his friends. Robert was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held in his honor on Thursday December 14, 2023 at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Altha beginning at 10:30 a.m. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
