Obituary of Glen Scott

Glen Scott, 74 of Cottondale, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in Marianna. Glen was born July 4, 1949, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Charles and Unday Scott. In his early years he worked in the logging industry hauling pulpwood and later began a stump grinding business in 1995 with his brother and later branched out on his own in 2001. Other than his parents Glen is also preceded in death by his daughter, Glenda Scott. Survivors include his fiancé, Bernita Starr; his daughter, Linda Faye Wood; his brothers, Charles Scott and Guilford Scott; a sister, Jessie Cassin; stepdaughters, Charlene Edenfield and Genny Starr; his grandchildren, Carol Register, Sabrina Griffiss, Peyton Hill and Kylee Hill and Dean and Richard Shores as well as seven great grandchildren. A memorial service to honor Glen’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 23, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
