Obituary of Elbert Williams

William Elbert Williams, 95 of Hosford, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in Blountstown. Elbert was born in Quincy, Florida to the late Horace and Hattie Mae Williams and was a Logger and an avid outdoorsman. He is preceded in death by his wife, Allie B. Williams; his son, Bobby Ray Williams; a daughter, Hattie Inez Williams; a sister, Thelma Chason; a half-brother, Louis Williams; half-sisters, Marty Watts and Lillie Bell Moore and a great grandson, Hunter. Survivors include his daughter, Gwinell Wilson (David); his grandchildren, David Wilson Jr. (April), Brenda Standish (Paul), Gwin Shiver (Leonard) and thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Services to honor Elbert’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, March 16, 2024, at Telogia Assembly of God Church with Stuart Dame officiating.
