Elsie Mae Pippin of Blountstown passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Blountstown at the age of 80. She was born in the Alliance Community October 26, 1931 to the late Walter and Alice Elizabeth (Summerlin) Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coolidge Pippin and two sisters, Lula Jane McCoy, and Nora Kirkland.
Survivors include her son, Jeff Pippin and two daughters, Pam Ayers and Connie Pitts, all of Blountstown; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Griffin of Port St. Joe and a sisters, Lila Walden of Blountstown and Alice Kelly.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Yoder and Reverend Francis Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery in Kinard. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17 at the funeral home.
