Obituary of Shanda Lynn Reese

Shanda Lynn Reese of Clarksville, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in Panama City, Florida at the age of 21. Shanda attended Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church in Clarksville and was a graduate of Blountstown High School Class of 2009. She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather, E. B. Reese and her maternal grandfather, Delbert Melvin. Survivors include her father, Timothy Reese and his wife, Katrina, of Grand Ridge, Florida and her mother, Shawna (Melvin) Reese, of Clarksville; brother, Shane Reese of Clarksville; sister, Sasha Reese of Grand Ridge; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Stacy Reese of Marianna, Florida and Hannah Pumphrey of Panama City; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Melvin of Clarksville; paternal great-grandmother, Jeanette Reese of Panama City; and maternal great-grandmother, Christana Mercer of Cypress, Florida; a special aunt, Debbie Parrish of Red Oak Community; and many other extended family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Shawn Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Travelers Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, July 27 at Adams Funeral Home. Adams Funeral in Blountstown is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
