Obituary of Donald Ray Tharpe

Donald Ray "Butch"Tharpe of Hosford, Florida passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the age of 58. He was a lifelong resident of Hosford and was owner/operator of D&D Timber. He attended Christian Lighthouse Church in Telogia, Florida. He was preceded in death by his dad, Olin Tharpe. He is survived by his wife, Delores (Pullam) Tharpe; a son, Chris Donald Tharpe and his wife Stacie, of Hosford; daughters, Nicole Thomas and her husband, Jamie, of Hosford and Brenda Hodge and her husband, Robert, of Bristol, Florida; five grandchildren, Cailin, Colton, Waylon, Mayci, and Chloe; his mother, Mildred Castleberry, of Hosford; three brothers, Donnie Tharpe of Altha, Florida, Ronnie Tharpe of Marianna, Florida, and Hubert Tharpe of Hosford; and a sister, Debra Sewell, also of Hosford. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. EDT, Monday, August 6, 2012 at Christian Lighthouse Church in Telogia, Florida with Reverend Rabon Haney and Reverend Buddy Elkins officiating. Interment will follow at Wesleyan Cemetery in Hosford. The family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 p.m. EDT, Sunday, August 5 at Christian Lighthouse Church.
