Obituary of William Charles Lee

William Charles "Bill" Lee of Blountstown, Florida passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the age of 82. Bill returned to Blountstown in 1983 from Winter Haven, Florida where he worked as a supervisor in the Department of Transportation. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Lincoln "Link" and Minnie (Bryant) Lee; a brother, Ralph Lee; sisters, Doris Covington, Myrtle Burch, Vivian Russ, and Mary Goodman. Survivors include his wife, Sybil (Shiver) Lee; sons, Gary Lee and his wife, Patricia, of Carrabelle, Florida, Dougie Brackins and his wife, Laura, of Blountstown, and Freddie Brackins and his wife, Heather, of Altha, Florida; daughters, Karen Everage and her husband, Barney, of Winter Haven and Maria Thurman and her husband, Tommy, of Blountstown; seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Maurice Lee of Blountstown, Amos Lee of Abe Springs, Florida, and Roger Dale Lee of Panama City, Florida. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home with Dr. Shawn A. Williams officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 14 at the funeral home. Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
