Obituary of Hilda L. Alford

Hilda L. Alford, age 72, of Blountstown, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Blountstown and was a 1956 graduate of Blountstown High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Blountstown Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ruby (Pelham) Clemmons.
She is survived by her husband, R. L.; son, Jonathan; daughter, Juanice Johnson and her husband, Jeff ; and two grandchildren, Bailey and Casey Johnson, all of Blountstown; a brother, D. L. Clemmons of Williamsburg, Virginia; and two sisters, Linda Coxwell of Crawfordville, Florida and Juanita Temple of Callahan, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 18 at Blountstown Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Ernie Gray, Reverend Richard Waterman, and Reverend Ken McClosky officiating. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home.
