Obituary of Dempsey Hill

Dempsey Hill, age 59, of Palmetto, Georgia and formerly of Sumatra, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Dothan, Alabama. He was a logger, a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church, and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hill and his dad, Thomas J. Hill.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Hill of Sumatra, three daughters, Amanda Hill of Palmetto, Mary Hill of Tyrone, Georgia, and Amy Allen and her husband, Steve of Palmetto; a brother, Ernest Hill of Sumatra; a sister, Wilma Jean Hill also of Sumatra; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., ET, Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Sumatra Assembly of God Church with Sister Ann Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Sumatra Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, October 13 at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol.
