Elma Stewart, age 87, of Blountstown, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Tallahassee. She was a member of Blountstown First Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the St. Andrew Bay Quilters Guild, Inc. She worked as Cafeteria Supervisor for Blountstown High School and Blountstown Elementary School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Stewart; her parents, Samuel and Mary Bell (Minton) Harvell; and two brothers, Vander Lee Harvell and Bradley Harvell. She is survived by four sons, Michael Stewart and his wife, Linda of Tampa, Florida, Kenny Stewart and his wife, Jackie of Mt. Dora, Florida; Garnett Stewart of Tallahassee, Florida; and Donald Stewart and his wife, Louise of Chiefland, Florida; four grandchildren, Tony Stewart, Jack Stewart, Joey Montgomery, and Dr. Sarah Stewart-Spencer; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Selma Guthrie of Keaton Beach, Florida. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Blountstown First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, October 29, at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 674-5449 adamsfh.com
